BIOGRAPHY

I see myself as a very passionate butcher, I love the trade, it’s my life. I love to showcase the trade and craft. I enjoy being a role model to the upcoming young butchers around the world and to show them that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I love to encourage young people into our trade.

I’ve been in the butchery trade my whole life. My dad’s a butcher, my brother’s a butcher and now it’s my turn to leave a mark on this industry. I started out as a wash-up boy at a very young age for some extra pocket money after school and I’ve never looked back. I’m a very organised person, very competitive, motivated and down to earth.

  • Represented Australia in the World Butchers’ Challenge in Sacramento, USA and placed 2nd in the world.
  • Represented Australia in Paris, France and placed 3rd in the world.
  • Named to the All Stars Team as best value added person in the world, one of six people selected for the award.
  • Won the first World Butcher Wars in London and became a world champion in a single-person competition.
  • Became the first butcher in Australia to win 4 Butcher Wars in a row.
  • Won the Master Butchers in New Zealand twice, including the most recent 2025 competition, where he also won best lamb product.
  • Placed third in the world in a virtual lamb competition.
  • Strongest areas in butchery include value adding, product creativity, and breaking down fresh beef, lamb and pork.
